A Tiny Rant

Just a Tiny Rant. I read Marn today and followed her link to Kung Fu Monkey and then followed his link HERE

Go read the last one of you havent already. Ill wait.

La la la la.

So, what do you think about that? Is this not the most blatantly obvious way to get his beliefs into our school system? His Christian beliefs? I will be the first to admit that sometimes I read things differently than other people. Did I do that here?

Oh wait!

"Both sides ought to be properly taught . . . so people can understand what the debate is about," he said, according to an official transcript of the session. Bush added: "Part of education is to expose people to different schools of thought. . . . You're asking me whether or not people ought to be exposed to different ideas, and the answer is yes."
This must mean that Bush is finally going to give equal time to those with "different" ideas. We are (if his words can be taken at face value) going to educate people to different ideas, right?

It means that he will finally entertain the idea that Jews, Muslims, Pegans and Wiccans and many more have a valid place in the grand scheme of things. But if we take it a step further, we are now going to "expose people to different schools of thought".

Oh my! Does this mean that maybe, just maybe we should actually "explore" the same sex controversy as intelligent thought instead of shoving it back in the closet?

Oh, one could only wish.

I bet the only "Intelligent Design" he is talking about is the Intelligent-Christain-HetrosexualHomophobic-Design that he wants to shove down everyones throat. I just bet you wont see Judaism being considered. No folks, that wont happen. As usual, it will be his way or the highway. It is a shame that so many other ways of life cannot be taught because of the narrowmindedness of those in power.

And it is truly a shame that GW was born with a birth defect. The poor man talks out of his ass.
