2001-04-28 9:38 a.m. Treetrunks I accidently deleted my very first entry. This is my second one. For the record, my very first was on 04/22/2001. Bummer. It wasn't a great one, but it was my first. I will miss it. Treetrunks: Imagine if people were tree stumps. I don't know what made that thought come into my head, but let's imagine it anyway. You could cut someone in half after they died and see how they lived. You know the stumps that are huge in circumference? That would be someonw that lived a long, long life. rings would, of course mark the years and events. Middle circles that was perfectly round without flaws would probably represent a happy childhood. As the the rings formed outward, thick lines would denote weightgain, possibly pregnancies. A diseased bump, infested with termites might represent a cancer or maybe divorce. Holes of course, would stand for losses. Loved ones, missed opportunities etc. Of course large holes made into the trunk by passing squirrels would perhaps be a time in one's life that they provided a haven for someone. A time of caring for a friend, or maybe an ill family member. I wish I were an artist. I would paint my own personal tree so that others may understand me just a little bit better. I think I may like to be an Oak tree.
